Company history

Pictured above is Yancy Guerin owner and president of Louisiana Hospital Supply. Yancy started purchasing medical equipment from hospitals and selling it out of the trunk of his car believe it or not. That was over 25 years ago and now the company has grown to over 10,000 square feet of used and refirbished medical equipment. LHS is located on historical Main St. in Plaquemine, LA. Louisiana Hospital Supply operates out of an old warehouse that once was a feed and seed building. This vintage building just adds a welcome feeling to the vintage and slightly used equipment we carry. Always lightly staffed LHS keeps with the laid back pace of Plaquemine but thrives on fulfilling all of your needs when it comes to purchasing used and refirbished medical equipment. 

 

Louisiana Hospital Supply also works closely with the movie industry here in Louisiana. We rent hospital equipment for recovery rooms, operating rooms, morgues, and other medical equipment needs a movie or commercial might call for. Items such as hospital beds, stretchers, gurneys, autopsy tables, surgical instruments, IV poles, blood pressure machines, curtains/dividers, etc. We have worked with such blockbuster movies as Final Destination 4 (set for an 09 release), Factory Girl, All the Kings Men, and Tekken (also set for an 09 release). We have also worked with Blue Cross Blue Shield providing equipment for commercials and advertising.
